The Directory of Illustration 38

The Directory of Illustration 38 has finally arrived in the hands of creatives and art directors. Unprecedented supply chain issues delayed delivery by several months, but in looking forward, 2022 is going to be a year for resilience!

In an earlier post, I hinted at how this special cover was created. It speaks to the universal woman, her trials, achievements, and the personal, unsung feminine hero. In difficult times she gives us all the nurturing of hope. To emphasize her looking into the light, we painstakingly managed the print production to maintain the vibrance in the artwork and applied spot gloss over the matte lamination highlighting her hair and eye.
